Our Mission
The Meaningful Life Center provides a supportive space for people who want to examine life’s most important questions and pursue a more meaningful way of living. Drawing on insights from the world’s wisdom traditions, philosophy, science, psychology, and the arts, the Center encourages open inquiry grounded in curiosity, humility, and respect. Through workshops, seminars, lectures, and programs of practice, the Center fosters thoughtful conversation, reflection, and shared exploration so that each participant can better understand themselves, learn from the experience of others, and discern a path toward a life of purpose and fulfillment.
Some important points to include in your proposal:
• How does your proposed program fit the mission of the Meaningful Life Center? Refer to the mission statement above as you consider this. Successful proposals will reflect the mission of the Meaningful Life Center.
• Tell us about yourself. Give us a brief bio letting us know your qualifications for offering your program.
• Who is this program for? Is this open for anyone or for young adults or seniors, or people with a special interest in the topic for example?
• Do you have a minimum or maximum group size?
• What format will your program use? Workshop, seminar, discussion, practice, etc.
• Will your program require The MLC to provide any materials such as books/texts, art supplies, presentation material (dry-erase boards or easel pads), audio-visual equipment?
• Proposed schedule - What day and time would you like for your group to meet? What's the duration of your program?
