Restorative Yoga

FIRST SESSIONIS MAY 6th
Restorative yoga is a type of yoga in which students hold the poses for longer periods of time. We will be doing very slow, minimal movement and will focus more on surrendering into a single pose. We will use props to make this more comfortable. The goal of this class is not to complete a yoga flow or perfect a certain pose-this restorative yoga class is a vehicle to journey within oneself. Kat will be bringing meaningful and inclusive poetry, quotes, passages, and music to aid in this pursuit. This class is meant to be a time of reflection and restoration that will allow students to rise from their yoga mats a little more centered and inspired than when they first arrived.

Students are encouraged to bring their own mats, blocks, pillows, shawls, towels, straps, bolsters and/or whatever other foundational items that will allow the student to fully relax.
