  • 6:00-8:00pm – Introduction to Reflective Best Self
    6:00 PM-8:00 PM
    2017.08.15

Using the fundamental questions – WHO are you? Who ARE you? Who are YOU?

We are asked this question in many ways through our lives. WHO are you? Who ARE you? Who are YOU? We answer from the place we are place we are in at the time. But have we really paused to discover and recognize the place we answer from? And more importantly, have we tried to fully answer the question when our inner Self inquires?

    Workshop Leader: Barry Richmond
  • 6:30-8:00 Reclaiming Presence: Meditation from the Mat into Daily Life
    6:30 PM-8:00 PM
    2017.08.15

Bringing clarity and presence to all life activities

This workshop is an experiential course in guided meditation to help participants find some measure of freedom from the unchallenged dictum of their minds. Helping the mind become more clear opens the way to self understanding and discernment. This in turn presents an opportunity for more conscious choices. Bringing clarity and presence to all life activities is a worthy goal that will be encouraged.

    Workshop Facilitator: Doug Dewitt

    Time: Tuesdays – 6:00 to 8:30  pm

Date: 3 Tuesdays beginning August 15

  • 6:30-8:30pm – Introduction to Centering Prayer
    6:30 PM-8:30 PM
    2017.08.17

Learn about, explore, and practice this ancient method

Learn about, explore, and practice this ancient method of leaving aside external concerns, discontinuing the incessant internal dialogue, and signaling our alert receptivity to the Divine Presence already dwelling within.

From the Great Silence of the Hebrew scripture to the Prayer in Secret of the Sermon on the Mount to the union with the Divine Indwelling of the 4th-century Desert Fathers and Mothers, some form of the contemplative practice we now call Centering Prayer has been with us. Join us as we learn to use this ancient practice to deeper and enrich our spiritual lives.
